Food and Drink Videographer London
I’m a food and drink videographer based in London. I make films that make people hungry or thirsty in about three seconds, for brands, agencies and start-ups across the UK.
My style is bold, graphic and a bit playful, but always properly made. Real food, real pours, real splashes, shot so they look as good moving as they do in your head.
Food and drink films for brands and agencies
Every brief is different, so I work in whatever format the job needs:
- TV and online commercials
- Social films and short-form content
- Product and pack-in-motion films
- Drink pours, ice, fizz and condensation shots
- Recipe and how-to films
- Cut-downs and versions for different channels and formats
I’ve worked with [Greggs, Ocado, Papa Johns, Kenvue, Dolmio, Doritos, or whichever you can name], and with a lot of challenger brands and start-ups who need to look bigger than they are.
Why food and drink video is different
Food moves fast. Cheese stops stretching, ice melts, bubbles go flat and a perfect pour only lasts a few seconds. A good shoot is about planning the order of everything, having the right styling ready and knowing how to light for movement as well as for a still frame.
I’ve spent [number] years shooting food and drink in stills and motion, so I know what looks good on the screen and what only looks good on the plate. That saves time on the day and money in the edit.
How a shoot works
1. The brief. You tell me what you’re selling, where the film will run and any references you like. I’ll ask questions and send a quote.
2. Planning. I put together a shot list or storyboard, and sort out the styling, props, set and crew. For bigger jobs, you’ll see the plan before the shoot day so there are no surprises.
3. Shoot day. We shoot at [studio / location], and you’re welcome to come along and watch. If you’d rather not, I can send you clips through the day for approval.
4. Edit and delivery. I edit, grade and deliver the film in the sizes and formats you need, whether that’s broadcast, web or social.
Shooting in London and across the UK
I’m based in London, and most of my work is shot here. I also travel for the right job, and I can shoot on location at restaurants, kitchens, farms and production sites.
Working with agencies and brands
I work directly with brands, and with agencies and production companies who already have the idea worked out. I’m happy working to a tight storyboard, or starting from a rough idea and building it up together.
I’m represented by Agent-At-Large, so you can book me through them if that’s easier: www.agentatlarge.co.uk .
