I’m a comedy portrait photographer in London. I make portraits that get a laugh, and that still look like a proper piece of advertising.

Funny only works if it’s believable. A good comedy portrait is about the casting, the expression, the props and the timing, and I spend as much time on those as I do on the lighting. Get them right and people stop scrolling. Get them wrong and it’s just someone pulling a face.

Advertising portraits with a sense of humour

As an advertising portrait photographer in London, I work with brands and agencies who want personality in their campaigns. That might be a single hero image, a series of characters, or a set of portraits that carry a whole campaign. I can work from your brief or help develop the idea from a rough one.

How I work

A few notes on it:

The main keyword is in the title, H1 and opening line, and the advertising phrase appears in a subheading and the first line under it. That’s enough, so don’t force either one in more often.
Give each gallery image descriptive alt text and a filename like comedy-portrait-london-[subject].jpg, since that helps the page as much as the copy does.
I’ve kept “food” and “drink” out of it deliberately, as we discussed.
