My Week In Pictures Pt6
So this was my first week back of real shooting. I spent half the week catching up on admin and editing and the other half taking portraits. So it was a pretty standard week.
Monday: I would love to be able to say that Monday was amazing, interesting and everything a photographers day should be, but in reality I spent 8 hours sending invoices, chasing dates and generally doing admin.
Tuesday: Aunty Holly came to visit in the morning and introduced me to my new assistant.
Wednesday: I treated myself to what became my first of many Burger related lunches for the week. If you are at Meat Cure at any point then order the Peanut Butter Milkshake. It is amazing. I spent the rest of the day location scouting for two photoshoots and then I met with a friend at my studio in the evening.
Thursday: I had a portrait sitting in the morning for a business man who was looking to get noticed by some bigger clients, after that I sat myself down and edited for 4 hours straight, working on some food photography that I recently shot. After work I headed over to Soft Touch Arts for their opening event. Go check out the great work they do for young people in Leicester.
Friday: I managed to get 3 peoples headshot and 3 portraits on location shot for NICHE. It was a busy day darting around the city with some very talented sports men.
Saturday: Apart from being REALLY cold, Saturday was a very good day. I got heaps of work done, I watched some films and I shot some images for a new piece of work that I will have completed in April.
Sunday: I have spent this morning working on blog content and also putting together some more information for my Free Online Photography Workshop.
