The Daydream Club cover shoot for The Monograph

These images were taken during the last cover shoot for The Monograph music magazine in Leicester. It was a very last min shoot but I was pleased with the final results. The Day Dream Club were a pleasure to work with and the shoot was great fun (and a little messy).

The Day Dream club image from the front cover of The Monograph. Photographed with a canon 5Dmk2 and a canon 28mm 2.8 prime lens. Two canon 430 ex2 speedlights were triggered off camera.
I always like taking photographs showing lots of energy. So the party popper and smashing Pinata really work for me.

Although this did not fit in with the general fun vibe, I really liked this out take. It was taken with a 35mm 1.4 lens and one canon 430 ex2 speedlight off camera.

This was a random out take whilst I was testing the lighting for the main image. Adam and Paula were great to work with and were really laid back.

This image was used for the back page of the magazine. It was taken with a canon 5Dmk2 and a sigma 35mm 1.4 Art lens. One flash was used off camera triggered by a pocket wizard.
